  • The Pacific Northwest: Being outdoors is life. Especially hikes with views of mountains, waterfalls, or the ocean.
  • Volleyball: I play, I’ve coached, I officiate, and I watch. You can catch me cheering on the US Women’s team and all the collegiate teams with my favorite players.
  • Chick-fil-a: If the question is Chick-fil-a, the answer is yes.
  • Disney, Musicals, and Crosswords (cause they’re like mini trivia games to play by myself)

My Story

I am part of a family of seven kids. My mom was able to teach all of us at home which I really enjoyed. My mom and dad were dedicated to teaching our family about their faith. It was always an important part of our life as a family to be active in the body of Christ and study the Bible together. Their faithfulness made an impact on me and I accepted Christ as my savior at a young age. In high school, I had a lot of fun being involved in church ministries with my friends. I found purpose in serving others. It was through high school and college that I realized how I wanted to use my life to help others find faith in Christ and to lead them in their faith. I met my husband, Joshua, at Bible college in Southern California. We got married right out of college and moved to Missouri where we served in ministry together for five years. I taught at a Christian school for three years before we made the decision to move to Washington state. Most recently, Joshua and I welcomed our daughter, Corrie, into the world and anyone will tell you that she is the cutest baby ever. The world can be a hard, crazy, and scary place. I am so grateful that I have faith in God who is a solid foundation. I can cling to Him when things in life get hard. I’m far from perfect but I know that I would not be where I am today without God guiding me by His grace.

Favorite Verse
2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
